DYSTOPIA
Back to our roots
Think about it: a lot of utopias turn out to be as horrific as the dystopias that were so dear to George Orwell.
With Dystopia, Noir Artist is going back to basics (collage effects, tattoos, pop art, and distorted portraits) and the darker side of his art: he accentuates the shortcomings of our society and parodies perfection at any cost, with a wealth of references to the last century. These canvases, with their vibrant and contrasting backgrounds, show less hope, perhaps, but more colour and didactic insights, thus inviting us to engage in reflection.
